Geography focuses on places and spaces, on humankind's stewardship of the Earth, and on the inter-related problems associated with environmental, economic, political, and cultural change.

The vision of this Department is to lead as a team of innovators in integrative science and to be recognized as the keystone for the University in interdisciplinary research that informs public policy.
