Shawn Marshall

Biography:

Shawn Marshall joined the University of Calgary Department of Geography in 2000. Marshall's research interests include glacier dynamics, cryosphere-climate processes, paleoclimatology, and mountain meteorology. Current research projects include field and modelling studies in the Canadian Rockies, the Canadian Arctic, Greenland, and Iceland. He is a Canada Research Chair in Climate Change (2007-2017), studying glacier and ice sheet response to climate change.
