GEOG 451 - Urban Systems Development - Winter 2017

A critical review of the geographical principles or urban growth and uneven development in the context of local, regional and global urban systems. Topics may include urbanization processes under capitalism, city-regions, global city networks, returns to urban agglomeration, inter-spatial competition, and transnational movements of capital and labour.
This course may not be repeated for credit.
